便利屋ほほえみの仕事(草むしり)
今回の依頼は、大きく綺麗な家に住む女性から頂きました。以前は子供と夫と住んでいましたが、子供は地方で生活を始めて夫は最近亡くなられたとのこと。
依頼者の女性は、年齢的に庭の手入れが難しくなってきたと言いました。
更に、介護施設への入居も考えていると打ち明けてくれました。
私は介護のプロとして、彼女に提案しました。
彼女の言動は、悪くても要支援１です。このような状況なら、無理をして介護施設の利用をするべきではないと。
まずは、できる範囲のことをして、老化現象を遅らせることを勧めました。
今の介護施設の現状で、介護認定もされていない依頼者に介護施設の話すらしたくありませんでした。
おそらく、孤独で心が折れていると感じたので、介護資格を提示して庭の手入れ以外にも相談に乗れますと伝えると、依頼女性は優しくほほえみました。
さて本題です。これが問題の庭です。
やはり、かなり荒れていました。
私の武器は、素手と鎌です。手前に映る黒い柄が鎌になります。
小さく見えますが、かなり高性能なんです。
雑草だけを除去し、太い枝は残してほしいという願い通りの仕上がりになりました。
もちろん雑草は根っこから抜きます。
根っこを残すと、雑草の無尽蔵な生命力で再び成長する速度が速まるからです。
そこで、例の鎌が大活躍してくれました。
鎌は根っこから雑草を除去してくれます。
ゴミ袋５個分の雑草を集めて、作業は完了しました。
依頼者は初回のご利用だったので、２，０００円の作業となりました。
